Feb 19 2026 Lit Assessment Implementation

Block 1 - Lit Assessment - Written 3 packages - to all students.  1 - Part 1 2 - Story 3 - Part 2 Review ALL packages and instructions. Instructions - Class - student handout's, instructions and copies of the stories x 1 for review with all students. Step 1 - Students you will complete a pre-reading worksheet. Step 2 - Read the start of the story Step 3 - Finish the pre-reading worksheet Step 4 - Finish the story  Step 5 - Complete the post reading worksheet Task: Students to complete all parts in FULL written form. Complete all edits on your written work.  Block 2 - Lit Assessment - Online Portion Complete online portion of your lit assessment utilizing your completed written & edited paperwork. Both paper and online components to be handed in by the end of the 2nd block.  *Ensure you have completed and entered in all information regarding Part 1 and Part 2 documents online via Teams > Assignments.  Done? Attendance.  Feb 10th  Silent Read 20 min - students have their personal novel read books at the front of the classroom. EA takes some students out of the space she’ll take the same students that went out yesterday. Reminder to students no breaks, leaving the space during quiet time. Those students have forgotten a book. I have a couple behind my desk on the top of the bookshelf.
