Lesson Outline
Discussion.
- "Have you ever been in a long-standing disagreement with someone? What happened, and how did it resolve?"
- Relate this idea to family feuds or rivalries.
Introduce the Author:
- Saki (H.H. Munro): his style of writing: sharp wit, satire, and unexpected endings.
Who is Saki (H.H. Munro)?
Saki is the pen name of Hector Hugh Munro, a British writer born in 1870 and known for writing clever, darkly humorous short stories.
✍️ Why He’s Important:
He wrote during the early 1900s.
His stories often make fun of the rich, upper-class people of his time.
His writing is witty, surprising, and often has a twist ending.
He sometimes uses animals or children in surprising ways to challenge adult behaviours.

4. Analysis and Discussion (20 minutes)
