Vail Summary - since the filming - 2023

  • The Outcome: After years of legal battling, the Town of Vail voted to condemn the property in 2023, paying $17.5 million to acquire the land from Vail Resorts to prevent the development.
  • Resulting Action: The land is now designated to be preserved as a wildlife habitat, while Vail Resorts announced it would focus on re-investing the funds into other employee housing projects
